2nd Astronaut contact For KI4JVK

ISS Amateur Radio

I had my 1st QSO with Bill on 12-10-05 at 1520 UTC.He said it was nice hearing fron Alabama and reported my signal as 5/9,which is amazing.I was operating the Kenwood TR-751A (25 watts maxium output) feeding 50 feet of RG 213 cable to a 20 foot elevation J-Pole Antenna! Excellent contact from the HOME TO ARMY AVIATION (FORT RUCKER-A U.S.A Army Heliocopter training base)Daleville, Alabama! Hopeful since Bill is GO ARMY my QSO made his day in a little way, it really made my weekend.
