During the pass over The Netherlands 31 dec. 2011 at 14.04 UTC I received this first part of the schoolcontact between ISS an The Historical Museum of Gdansk Poland.
Received with Uniden UBC3500xlt scanner and a home-made 137.5 MHz QFH antenna at 145.8000 MHz FM.
I am new to this forum. I've always tried to go outside and watch the ISS go overhead. I recently purchased an old Icom IC-PCR100 receiver and was given a AntennaCraft ST2 scanner antenna to use.
So far, I have not been very successful at listening in on ISS voice communications on 145.8mhz FM. I have been able to hear sporadic data packets on 145.825mhz.
What would be a better antenna to use? I figure this old IC-PCR100 receiver should be capable of receiving, so I can only guess that perhaps the antenna isn't good enough.
When is the next scheduled time the ISS will be transmitting SSTV?
Recording from Russian voice during the pass of Soyuz TMA-03M over The Netherlands at 22 dec. 2011 18.04h UTC at 121.7500 MHz FM

What callsign will the Soyuz use for Amateur Radio aboard the ISS?
the new soyuz spacecarft will soon launch to the iss it is planned to launch on wendesday it will make six aboard the iss now and then a new year will begin. it is planned to be a busy year with the htv docking to iss atv docking to iss science work and routating crews. not to mention the dragon spacecraft is planned to have a fly by of the space station it will be a great year of science work and exploration.
I'm brand new here and I know therefore not as 100% pure.
But maybe you can tell me how I'm best with the ISS can spark.
I have a homemade J-antenna can perform their functions under the umbrella of the antenna too much or is a screened?
Thank you for your answer!

Why cant I operate the capcha feature and send reports. I dont seem to have any problem logging in. Tks de Gary ZL1KJ
Is the new crew going to be using VHF packet again on 145.825 or staying on UHF? My setup is primarily designed for the 2 meter work and beacons. There has not been much VHF activity heard over the Eastern US lately.
Last dates of the live APRS Tracking selection on this web page was back in September!
Is this selection no longer valid?
