Had great satisfaction in monitoring the ISS SSTV on 145.8. over the weekend just past. used either a Yaesu FT817 or VR500 (scanning rx) with vertical antennas. Look forward to more, and maybe a voice contact one day! Also managed to video some signal capture, it's on he following link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53ZNAlQ5p_w Cheers all. Looking for some help hearing the ISS. Today had a great pass right over Minnesota...but heard nothing on either 145.800 or 437.800. Guess I could use a little help- I have no idea what I'm doing. Gear - HT with an Arrow VHF/UHF antenna. Please shoot me a direct email if you can offer some advice. KD0TLI@yahoo.com

Glad to have found this site. I've been a Ham for 45 years but not active during the past 25 years. Kids are grown now - I'm going to get back into the hobby with tracking and monitoring ISS passes. Who makes a good 2m CP Yagi? I'm going to buy a fancy Yaesu G-5500 Az/El rotor. What is a good receiver? All mode 2M? Cheers - W2HRO
