Heard Tim using GB1SS this morning using VX7r handheld and magmount antenna on car. It was great to hear Tim with such clarity. First time I've heard the ISS, having seen it many many times, and listened for it many times previously.

ISS made several passes over Virginia(USA) 17, August, 20015, but I heard nothing. I know there are several hams wanting to hear and make contact with ISS so if anyone on board reads the Guestbook please give out a shout next time you are over Virginia(USA). I am monitoring 145.800 any time I am at home. Thanks.

I have a quad band radio that monitors 2 channels. I will definitely have my second channel monitoring 145.800 from now on. I'm not sure about the offset, it says 1.31 but my radio will only do 1.30 or 1.35. so I'll leave it on 1.30 for offset. My location is Rustburg, VA, USA

Feliz por haber podido decodificar parcialmente 2 imágenes en SSTV transmitida por Uds en la celebración del nacimiento de Yury Gagarin. Espero que este tipo de transmisiones se repita. Gracias

Had great satisfaction in monitoring the ISS SSTV on 145.8. over the weekend just past. used either a Yaesu FT817 or VR500 (scanning rx) with vertical antennas. Look forward to more, and maybe a voice contact one day! Also managed to video some signal capture, it's on he following link. Cheers all. Tony M0RIF Dartmoor. SW England
