I received word from Chris van den Berg, who was in Star City, Russia, last week. Chris was so kind to ask my question about the power of VHF-1 (143.625 NFM) to the chief communications engineer in Star City. He told Chris that the VHF-1 transmitter power aboard ISS is about 6 Watt.
