ISS FD Voice Reports 2m/70cm

Hi all,

Please report your voice contacts or voice monitoring reports here to give me an idea of how well the everthing went for Field Day from ISS.

For example:
NU5M heard NA1SS on 2m voice for 3 passes, 1420, 1602 and 1735. Did not make contact but heard several stations that did. Signals were about S1 to S8 using a vertical.

Include times (UTC), signal reports, equipment and band. I'm especially interested in the 70 cm contacts for Gennady.

Thanks in advance.

I was lucky enough to make a voice contact from our Field Day site in Fort Pierce, FL at 14:33z on June 27th. I am a veteran satellite operator with numerous shuttle and Mir contacts, but I was so excited that my hands would not stop shaking.

I heard the ISS with packet at 0225,0400,0530,0715, and 0840 local time (EST)

i slept inbetween the passes, and was using an alinco DR-135 w/TNC with a discone at 24ft above ground level.. I dont think they were active on voice over the east coast, unless they were during the only passes i missed which was a 1030EST and 1120EST.

it seems they worked everyone west of me, oh well, always next year

last year i copied them S30, but couldnt break through, this year i had the 10ele 2m cross polarized beam out, didnt see much action from the FD site
