Will packet be turned on?
Kenneth,
Do you know if the crew will turn the packet back on when not using voice? Bill seemed to be pretty good about returning the station to packet if he wasn't using voice. Hopefully the new crew also will do so.
Thanx

Same old story
We run into this issue nearly every crew change. The radios are scheduled to be powered down prior to undock but it is up to the new crew to turn them back on. They usually get very busy with all their new duties and just forget to turn the radios back on. On the bright side, they should have a school contact in 2-3 weeks and the radios will have to be powered on for that.

Re: Same old story
Will try
I will request that the radios be activated at the crews earliest convenience (as always). It does take some time to get the request processed as it is one of the lowest priority items.
Unfortunatly, emailing this crew is not a option.

I was wondering the same thing
It has been silent since yesterday when Bill left. I was beginning to think he took the radio with him.
